I'm Grabbing My Passport!
I’m grabbing my passport!
It’s been over two years since I left the borders, and I’m excited about my upcoming trip!
I can’t disclose the location yet, but I’ll give you a few context clues.
Can you guess where I’m going?
WHY I LOVE TO TRAVEL
It’s so easy to become polarized in today’s society. We can drive the same roads, see the same people, attend the same stores, visit the same restaurants, eat the same food, and rarely venture outside a routine. Nothing is wrong with a regimen, but monotony can make us stagnant.
Add to that the digital age, where the algorithm serves exactly what a person likes. That creates an enjoyable user experience—but also a limited one.
Traveling expands my perspective and makes me appreciate the world’s cultural landscape. I’m often reminded of the little blessings I take for granted, and I usually come back home with a renewed sense of appreciation and gratitude.
From luxury bungalows with oceanside views to dirt road campsites in the bushes of East Africa, I’ve experienced a wide range of travel accommodations. Don’t get me wrong, I prefer soft life vacations, but I can “rough it” when necessary.
Here is a quick recap of some places I’ve traveled over the years, along with photos and stories to follow. This isn’t a comprehensive list, but it highlights some key moments.
